Cestrian Imaging has been awarded the gold level of the Carbon Smart certification for:
- showing comprehensive, effective actions to reduce the carbon footprint
- integrating carbon and energy management into the organisation
- communicating this positive work to staff and customers.
The business has now been provided with an action plan from Carbon Smart to sustain the gold level for next year’s audit. The Carbon Smart Certification is a practical programme helping businesses achieve their full environmental potential.
Phill Reynolds, owner at Cestrian Imaging, said: “We are extremely proud of our team who have worked so hard to achieve this important certification – especially as we have seen an exemplary reduction of 21% from last year’s carbon management figures.
“Being green is at the heart of what we do here at Cestrian Imaging and we are constantly looking to improve our business processes in order to do our bit for the environment, as well as reducing our costs and overheads.”
With a dedicated Environmental Action Team drawn from all parts of the business, Cestrian Imaging is now working on zero waste to landfill and presenting this year’s EMAS Report to further demonstrate commitment to the environment.
