Tension fabric exhibition stand
Earlier this year, Cestrian took part in this year’s largest marketing event at Olympia Grand London. Marketing Week Live 2014 hosted 350 exhibitors and over 11,500 visitors were in attendance. The Cestrian exhibit was one of the standout displays mainly due to its size, design and innovative use of materials. The pop up exhibition stand itself feature’s a range of products, fixtures and fittings that are explained in more detail below and illustrated in the images on the right.
Tension fabric print – The entire exhibition stand was assembled from an aluminum frame and fitted with eco-polyester fabric graphics. The fabric edges were stitched with rubber extrusions that slide into the frame and stretch to fit perfectly.
Large format fabric – Each fabric section was printed in one-piece enabling large displays up to 3.2 metres wide. A size that’s ideal for backdrops or feature walls.
Tension fabric pelmet – The stand also featured a hanging cubed pelmet, again created from an aluminum frame and stretched fabric. The weight of the materials meant it was easy and safe to suspend mid-air using hanging cable and eye bolts.
Technology – Some of the walls incorporated plasma screens that were flush against the fabric and ideal for presentations and software demonstrations during the event.
Fixtures and fitting – Each portable exhibition stand system allows for a number of fixtures and fittings to be used to create different displays and wall features. The range includes magnetic and fixed shelving, rails and holders.
Freestanding frames – In addition to the main exhibition stand, a freestanding backlit totem was used to house an event map – perfect for temporary way finding or signage.
