White ink technology for flat sheet is now available from Cestrian Imaging.
Using the EFI VUTEk HS100 Pro, our creative boundaries have been broken, application possibilities have been expanded and print effects have been increased.
Our revolutionary implementations of white ink allow us to improve your printed graphics by:
- boosting image clarity
- producing on a wider range of creative materials and substrates
- diffusing the light on backlit displays
- finishing the print with extra layer of definition.
White ink technology can be used in the following ways:
‘White under’ can be used as a pre-coat on coloured and creative substrates.
‘White over’ as a post coat on clear material is ideal for backlit products – the white ink acts a diffuser spreading the light so your displays are brighter and more evenly lit.
‘Shape white’ printing as a pre or post coat gives an extra burst of colour whilst allowing metallic or mirrored substrates to show through.
‘Spot white’ printing allows black and white imagery to become more dramatic and full colour to be richer by adding an extra layer to specific areas of the design.
